Can you play the sims 3 world adventures with only the expansion installed?

I want to have the Sims on multiple computers, and want to know if you install Sims 3 World Adventure on computer A, then uninstall the original sims 3, could you still play Sims 3 World Adventures, Obviously, I would then install Original SIms 3 on computer B. Any...
