Discovered the Sims game, just a few months before the release of the Sims 2 in 2004 which was predicted as being another big game seller even though i had never heard of the Sims before. I was just looking around for a game to buy for my daughter who just had just gotten her first PC and the Sims was recommended by the sales guy…

Installed the game for my daughter and she started to play, creating herself and her friends. After only a few hours she came out crying because her in-game house burnt down killing one sim and her other sim was getting depressed… we absolutely had no idea what the Sims was about.

Decided to install the game on my computer and with my step-daughter, we went deep into the game… the next day I went to buy ALL expansions… Learnt about the game and the eminent release of sims 2 with all its new features…

Got the sims 2, all expansions and stuff pack… had to get a new computer to handle over 40,000 downloads in our game… until I gave up because to constant crashing… PC not handling the game very well and then I got a laptop and could not get the game installed at all.

And now the Sims 3…
We are a few days – well about a week – from its release and omg I can’t wait! EA Games brought so much improvements in Sims 2, so many things we wanted from Sims 1 and we got… but there was still a few things we wanted to see and now I think we are all hoping to see like…. Looking at a cute outfit just to realize how ugly the shoes are!!!! I want to be able to change my shoes!!!! lol

I am hoping they would be a lot smarter (probably wishful thinking for just a computer game lol) but getting the mail in your undies is not really smart or going all the way to prepare food and staring at it instead of instead – omg wastes 2mn starring at the food… yes 2mn in a sim’s life is a lot….

I am also happy that this time around I do not need to upgrade my PC either.
