You just get extra stuff fans would obsess over.
I wouldnt get it if I were you they over exzagerate. Believe me.

I agree with Britt. That’s exactly right. I’m getting the Collectors Edition also.
In Australia it makes the game $120 instead of $100 (whatever that equates to for you guys in other countries) and for me, the 2GB plumbob is worth it! I mean it costs almost that much ($20) to buy a normal USB, let alone an AWESOME Sims 3 one!!

well i got the collectors edition i cant wait!!! it depends do you want just the sims 3 which is good or do you want the sims 3 AND more variety!!! this is what the sims 3 site says what collectors editon has:

The Sims 3 collector’s edition just has that plumbob, and it’s more expensive. It is because with that drive, you can add more to your computer to make it run faster. The Sims 3 is just the game, without extra.
