Sims 3 ………………….?

Is the sims 3 fun? Should I still get it even if I have Sims 2?
And I already have sims 2 with expansion packs, so would I be able to play the Sims 3 and Sims 2 whenever I want, or would my Sims 2 things get deleted?
And does the Sims 3 for mac and PC cost the same? Is the game still exactly the same for PC and mac? Does cheats work for mac too?

Yes, the above is right. Installing Sims 3 will do nothing to your Sims 2 saves and you can always go back and play them
Sims 3 is for mac and pc, and at the moment the collectors edition is only $40 (at gamestop anyway), which is $10 cheaper than the regular edition lol
I found Sims 3 to be a lot of fun. It’s way more detailed and involved than Sims 2. I could spend hours in the character creation alone! I haven’t played the expansion however.
**One thing I would recommend first is to make sure the system requirements match. Initially my computer was reaching barely the minimum requirements which made the game graphics look worse than Sims 2. Also, it ran really slow and overall was impossible to enjoy. So make sure to check! The website canyourunit.com will scan your computer and tell you for sure :p

Yes the sims 3 is fun. and yes you should get it even if u have the sims 2.
yes you will be able to play the sims 2 and 3, the sims 2 wont get deleted.
they both cost the same. yes they are the same and i don’t know if the cheats work for mac. you should google that.

Installing the sims 3 will not delete your sims 2 stuff
The sims 3 CD can be used for both the mac AND PC. [i know so cuz me and my bro use the same CD and I have a Dell laptop and he has a mac desktop]
I found the sims 3 to be fun. It’s definitely a different experience. But there were just some little problems like the sims looking ugly [remedied by custom hair and stuff], or not having enough to do [for lack of expansion packs]… etc. I just lost interest in the sims 3 completely after waiting for a new expansion pack to come out. And even when World Adventures came out, my excitement was never rejuvenated. Still, i say give the sims 3 a try! It might be different for you.
