Sims 3 Coming To Consoles & Handhelds

According to its Third Quarter Fiscal Year 2010 Report, EA has revealed that it is bringing The Sims 3 to consoles and also has new games in the pipeline for its Spore and The Sims franchises.

EA is expecting to release The Sims 3 in Q3 of 2010. No details about the game has been released yet.

Although the Fiscal Report stated “The Sims 3 on Console Title TBA”, we can expect the game to be release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. No platforms have been confirmed, and the update is listed merely as “The Sims 3 on Console Title TBA” for both “Console” and “Handheld” – the game is already available on the iPhone and iPod Touch.
