Sims 3 Censor Patch: How To Remove The Blur?
Interesting to see the that “removing the Sims 3 censor patch” is the most wanted mod! And since I am still being asked in the comments section of this post on how to remove the Sims 3 Censor Patch, I decided to make a quick post about it.
As far as I know there is 2 game mods to remove the blur cause by the Sims 3 Censor Patch.
The first one is to download the Sims 3 Nude patch that I have here. You will find a file and a note explaining what to do: basically you have to overwrite one of the files in the game and the note explains where to find it. This is the first mod that was released and this is the one I have used from day one and never had any issues with it.
Then another mod came out on >MTS2. >This mod is a .package file therefore it does not overwrite any files in the game. I have not used it since I had already removed it but looking at the comments over there it seems ok to use it.
So the choice is yours but if you are going to use the first choice and overwrite your Sims 3 game file, make sure you keep a copy of the original file just in case….

Sims 3 Censor Patch Update July, 6th, 2011:

When installing a new version of No Mosaic make sure you delete the old version.
You do not need any certain expansion or stuff packs for it to work properly, you just need one of the versions mentioned below.
NoMosaicLN will work with the following game versions;
Base Game 1.17
World Adventures 2.12
High End Loft Stuff 3.8
Ambitions 4.5
Fast Lane Stuff 5.2
Late Night 6.0
NoMosaicFLS will work with the following game versions;
Base Game 1.15
World Adventures 2.10
High End Loft Stuff 3.6
Ambitions 4.3
Fast Lane Stuff 5.0
NoMosaicAMB will work with the following game versions;
Base Game 1.12 to 1.14
World Adventures 2.7 to 2.9
High End Loft Stuff 3.3 to 3.5
Ambitions 4.0 to 4.2
If anyone uses a version older than 1.12/2.7/3.3/4.0 please let me know and I’ll post a compatible version of the mod.
No Mosaic updated for 1.17/2.12/3.8/4.5/5.2/6.0
I have no idea of it works as I don’t have the time to play at the moment. So Please, let us know if this Sims 3 Censor Patch will work with the latest ep, Thanks.

Hello! Does this forks with pets? I have all expansions and stuff packs. If it doesnt work SOMEONE pls give me a link if u know one. Thank you.

Well, I installed a Sims 3 update and it got rid of the cheat box. Anyone know how to get it back? When I press CTRL+SHIF+C all it does is take a picture. Help me!

So, I downloaded this file and followed the instructions and it didn’t work. please tell me what it wrong with this thing. I have been looking since i got this game in 08 for a good patch and all I have found is stuff that doesn’t work

I just got a new laptop so had to reinstall all my Sims games including Late Night but I have not yet added any custom content and I just would like to remove that silly blur. I was using the one from MTS2 that I mentioned in my post and it was working perfectly fine but reading on the comments over there, it does now create issues with he latest eps so I would not bother installing it. Will keep an eye for it or maybe someone else knows one that works.

Laila, you’re not all there or just really annoying. I’m on here because I have all 4 expansions (Base Game, WA, HELS, AMB, & FL) and I am looking for a patch that will get rid of the blur, one that is compatible with said expansions above?

I don’t get it! I went to that site that you linked. I have no clue on what to do. I have Windows 7 on my latop, yes. What do I do? How do I extract? (I have an acer laptop) Where do I put it? What do I overwrite? I really need step-by-step instructions on this, but dumbed down.. A LOT! Heelp!

You do not need to overwrite anything anymore. Just go to this page http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=343951 download this package file and add it to your Downloads folder.
