Sims 3 Late Night Expansion –Loaded with Exciting Add-ons

The release date of the Sims 3 Late Night expansion pack has been declared as October 26, 2010 for PC & Mac. The announcement of the Sims 3 Late Night by EA has created a huge sensation even before the launch. While it has echoes of the Hot Date expansion for the original version of The Sims, the Sims 3 Late Night expansion will offer a whole lot more.

The Sims 3 Late Night will have a “hot spot” system that highlights which of the town’s clubs will be the most crowded and which will be flat-out empty.

The hot spot system plays into several of Late Night’s new features, such as the new “celebrity level.” All Sims can gain up to five levels of notoriety (indicated by a 5-star meter that floats above each one’s head). At lower levels of fame, your Sims will be able to only get into low-end clubs and will get checked by bouncers unless you have other skills that can sneak you through, such as computer hacking, which can get you in through the back door. At higher levels of fame, not only will your sims be welcomed with open arms through the velvet ropes, but your sims may also be able to pick up some extra cash being a professional party crasher, taking in a little extra cash from nightclub owners to grace their parties with your presence and have your picture taken.

The Sims 3 is reported as the most successful PC game launched by EA that got the company immense success. The sellout of 1.4 million copies in the first week of the release created a benchmark in the history of EA. According to reviews, The Sims 3 has been the top selling game so far and, the striking innovation made in the game has given it an edge over other strategic life simulation video games available in the market.

“The community has been very vocal about unleashing their Sims in more interesting and unpredictable social situations,” said Scott Evans, General Manager of The Sims Studio at EA. “The Sims 3 Late Night is full of ways to approach a rich, new life beyond a Sims’ normal day, such as schmoozing with celebrities on the rooftop of a skyscraper, wooing the crowd with your Sim’s band, or being the best bartender in town at the hottest new lounge.”

The Sims 3 Late Night will let your Sims play as a vampire. “Our vampires are not Twilight,” insists associate producer Grant Rodiek. He’s the one who designed the new vampire system for Sims 3 Late Night and wants to make sure that your blood-sucking Sim is totally badass and unique.

“The Sims 2 also had vampires. Their vampires were based on this sort of 1920s’ Bela Lugosi-style vampire. We wanted [Late Night] vampires to be more muscular and powerful. They gain skills twice as quickly. They run in a flash at night. They can drink from other Sims. They can hunt Sims. They can read their minds and learn about them really quickly… So, if there’s a girl you want to date or this girl you want to drink from, you can make [her] think of you and she’s going to like you more,” continues Grant Rodiek.

The Sims 3 Late Night will add more customization and building options to play with, including expensive new penthouse apartments and a returning Sims favorite: the hot tub, which can seat up to four characters.

You can expect to see plenty of new clothing sets and character customization like draw-on muscle T-shirts, and new more muscular body types. The Sims 3 Late Night will add a much-requested breast adjustment tool for those who absolutely must increase their bust.
